DAC7728: ample supply bypassing

Regarding the TI DAC7728SPAG, the datasheet state:

The DAC7728 must have ample supply bypassing of 1uF to 10uF in parallel with 0.1uF on each supply,located as close to the package as possible;ideally,immediately next to the device. The 1uF to 10uF capacitors must be the tantalum-bead type.
Is it acceptable to connect GRM155R71H104KE14 and GRM21BR6YA106KE43 in parallel between AVDD and AVSS (AVDD:+12V, AVSS:-12V)?

    I'm not sure why the tantalum capacitor was recommended for the DAC7728 in the datasheet. But generally ceramic capacitors should be fine for this application.

    I checked the evaluation module for the DAC8728 which is the 16-bit version of the 12-bit DAC7728 (there is also a 14-bit version called the DAC8228). You can find the user's guide here: www.ti.com/.../SBAU161. This is the bypass capacitance setup for the EVM:

    If you look through the capacitors C27 through C34, these are all ceramic capacitors.

    I would note that they are all 50V capacitors. I think you had suggested a 35V capacitor, but I would use a 50V voltage rating or better.

    Due to space constraints on the board, the capacitor chip size is 2012. An appropriate part is the GRM21BR6YA106KE43 (35V 10uF X5R).
