ADC12DL1500: Reading only nonesense data

Part Number: ADC12DL1500

Dear TI-support,

I'm reading only nonesense data out of the ADC. When I switch to testpattern mode, the "nonesense" get stable. No more toggling, but still nonesense.

It's a little hard to describe. Could please someone setup a online meeting and have a fresh look together with me? Maybe I oversee something stupid simple.

Kind regards,

Simon

  • Simon,

Can you please share your device configuration including interface mode and clock rate?

Are your LVDS lanes length matched on your PCB?

  • Hi Bill,

it appears that the ADC only sends testpattern data, after CAL_SOFT_TRIG has been issued. I don't know why and cannot find any reference or hint regarding that in the datasheet.

With correct testpattern, I was able to implement bitslip logic accordingly and now I receive data.

    Kind regards,

    Simon
