TPS50601-SP: Request for replacement

Part Number: TPS50601-SP

Concerning Texas Instrument (TI) device with c/n: 5962R1022101VSC and p/t: TPS50601-RHA, that was ordered by ATN PO ref.: 5026688 / pos. 001, please note that the following anomalies have been observed:

 

- During the External Visual Inspection (EVI) performed as part of the Incoming Inspection, 17 samples showed discolorations on the leads (S/N 462, 465, 470, 473, 475, 477, 479, 962, 963, 965 TO 970, 974 and, 975.

- A representative image is attached (S/N# 470).

- Material Analysis by EDAX was performed on the sample with S/N#470 to check the composition of the detected deviation, and the result was approximately 5.17% of Sulphur.

 

According to TI CPR No. CPR251136846, we do not need to return the units to TI for physical analysis.

 

We have been requested to raise a ticket to customer support center for the 17 replacement parts.
