DAC3283: Spurs in DAC3283

We see spurs in our RF output and we believe it is coming from the DAC. Are there any registers for this DAC that we can adjust to reduce the level of the spurs. These spurs might also be coming from the IF, but is there a way to minimze them within the DAC.  Thank you in advance. 

  • The datasheet says: " ....optional 2x-4x interpolation filters, digital IQ compensation and internal voltage reference. The DAC3283 offers superior linearity, noise and crosstalk performance." how can we enable interpolation for this chip. I did not see any register that mention interpolation. 

  •  Input data can be interpolated by 2x or 4x through on-chip interpolating FIR filters with over 85 dB of
    stop-band attenuation. Multiple DAC3283 devices can be fully synchronize

    Do you have a specific spur that you can elaborate? If it is due to odd order harmonics, we can try to reduce the signal level to see if the level decreases. In general, there are no specific registers that can reduce the overall spur. We will have to analyze the type of spur (even or odd) and devise a plan accordingly.
