TSW14J58EVM: HSDCPro "DEFAULT_IP_CONFIG_FAILED" error

Part Number: TSW14J58EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADC12QJ1600, ADC12QJ1600EVM

We want to test the communictation between our TSW12QJ1600 and our TSW14J58EVM using HSDC Pro.
The Windows mashine has HSDC Pro Lite v6.00 and ADC12QJ1600 software v1.1 installed.

We follow the instructions of section 3 in TSW12QJ1600 Evaluation Module - User's Guide (SLAU796).

We open the ADC12QJ1600EVM GUI and follow the instructions. We set the Fs=1000Msps and switch to JMODE8. We program the clock and ADC. The read back go temperatures from the board works fine. We toggle off and on the Cal Trigger / Running and check if the CAL Status. CAL_GOOD CAL_STOPPED and FG_DONE all appear in green. We also check on the PLL panel that the PLL is locked.

After this we start the HSDCpro software. The FPGA board is successfully identified. We select the ADC device. Then we are informed that no firmware is loaded. We select the ADC12QJ1600RD_JMODE8_12G_16G_divby64 and start the download. After the download box disappears a new box appears saying that "Initialize ADC DEFAULT_ID_CONFIG_FAILED Failed to Configure the Firmware with Default Register Config". See screenshot attached.

We checked the procedures. Checking that USB connections are all fine, checked all LEDs on the board and checked all jumpers. We can not find any issue in our setup and run out of ideas. The troubleshooting section in the documentation does not offer a solution either.

We ask for assistance to get the setup running. We are also wondering for which part (the ADC or the FPGA) the firmware in this step is loaded. Since the error massage says "Initialization ADC" we are supprised since we were thinking this step sets up the FPGA firmware. Is the step with the ADC12QJ1600 software unnecessary and overwriten by this step?
