ADS9324: Precise sampling time of ADS9324

Other device datasheets e.g. ADS8555 specify sampling time of the ADC, e.g. 280 ns, with conversion time stated as a separate value e.g. 1.25us.

ADS9324 datasheet only specifies "ADC cycle time period" as 1/f_conv. This would be 1 us for the maximum sample rate of 1 Msps.

Is it possible for TI to specify more precisely the sampling time, or is 1us as precise as TI can be given the number of moving parts in ADS9324 (PGA, input buffers, AFE)?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your post. This information is usually not specified for ADCs with integrated drivers as the driver ensures the ADC settles within the acquisition period. The acquisition and conversion is completed in 1us, as you mentioned, when converting at 1MSPS. May I ask if you need this information for your design?
