ADS7038: Input leakage current of SPI interface pins (especially SCLK)

I am using the ADS7038 and could not find the input leakage current

specification for the SPI interface pins in the datasheet.

For GPIO inputs, an input leakage current (10–100 nA) is specified.

Can the SPI clock input (SCLK) be assumed to have a similar input

leakage current?

Hi Kawaura-san,

Apologies for the late reply on this thread. The leakage currents will be different to the GPIO pins as they are a different buffer structure. These are not characterized datasheet specifications, but some information can be gathered from the IBIS model parameters.

For the digital inputs and outputs, i.e. CS, SDO, SCLK, SDI, current to GND and POWER is modelled as 0, so negligible across process variation and temperature.

The IBIS model is marked as ADS7028, but is compatible with all SPI device variants of the family, including ADS7038, and TLA2518. I will check to see if it can be added to the ADS7038 product page to find more easily. It can be opened in a plain-text editor to see the parameters I am referring to.
