ADC10D1500: ADC10d1500 - dBFs to dBm Conversion Formula for Low Power Input - Reg

Part Number: ADC10D1500

Dear Team,

I need to convert captured ADC output data to find the power level in dBFS, and then convert that value to dBm. The final result should match the dBFS power level plotted in High Speed Data Converter Pro (HSDC Pro).

I am using the formula below to convert the ADC output to the dBFS power level. Since the captured ADC data is in offset binary format, I have converted it to signed 2's complement format.

During my testing, I observed that for high power levels (e.g., 0 dBm), the calculated power level perfectly matches the power level observed in HSDC Pro. However, for lower power levels (e.g., <−30 dBm), the calculated power level differs from what is displayed in HSDC Pro. I have attachedADC Data captured at different power levels for your reference.

Could you please help me resolve this discrepancy?

Regards,
