ADS124S08: ADS124S08IPBS

Part Number: ADS124S08

ADS124S08IPBS is used to monitor changes in the pressure sensor (4-20 mA).
It seems that noise is generated when the external electric device is operated, and the value is a value in which a quantitative offset is added to the value after A/D conversion.
The operating time of the external electric device is about 1~2 seconds, and this offset is continued even in the non-operating state after the operation is completed.

Is it possible to imagine an event that retains an offset in the A/D converter?
AN0-1, AN2-3, AN6-7, AN8-9, and AN10-11 are used as the channels of the A/D converter, but this event occurs in AN6-7 and AN8-9. Are there any differences in CH, such as internal hardware configuration?

  • Hi Yoshio-san,

Can you let me know how much noise or offset have you seen? It will be good if you can share comparison data. You can short the input on the connector with normal operation and also short the input at mid-supply [(AVDD + AVSS) / 2] to measure input offset of the ADC by setting  SYS_MON[2:0] to 001b. There is no difference on the inputs.

    BR,
