Greetings.

I am planning to use ADS1220 for six wire load cell measurement. My excitation voltage will be 5V. Can I give sense + and sense - signal to refP and refN ?

    Hello Nimit,

    Thank you for your interest in out Precision ADCs.

    Yes you can use REFP and REFN for sense+ and sense-. Just ensure reference are within the bounds specified in the data sheet.


    We have a new version of the ADS1220, and that is the ADS122S14. This ADC has higher gain settings, more analog input channels, and has the ability to excite the load cell with its REFOUT pin.
