DAC82001: DAC82001 settling time

Hi,

we have measured the settling time of the DAC, checking Fig. 6-16 of the spec sheet. However, we repeatedly measure a settling time of 2.2 us, instead of the specified 1 us.

What can be the reason?

We have used 2.5V reference voltage, supply voltage 3V and 5V, no load or output buffer, we have measured the output pin of the DAC directly using an appropriately fast probe.

    Hi Balazs,

    Can you share your oscilloscope capture? What is the load of the probe itself?  Are you measuring a 1/4 scale to 3/4 scale transition? Are you trying to capture large-scale settling or small-scale settling with your scope? Be careful not to overdrive your inputs.
