DDR and DEMUX mode with the ADC12D1600RF

My data sheet dated Oct 17, 2011, for the ADC12D1600RF indicates in paragraph 17.3.2.1 : "Note that for DDR Mode, the 1:2 Demux Mode is not available."

However the next page 45 provides a table:

TABLE 21. Supported Demux, Data Rate Modes

                       Non-Demux Mode                 1:2 Demux Mode

DDR              0° Mode only                           0° Mode / 90° Mode

SDR              Not available                            Rising / Falling Mode

Which implies in 1:2 Demux Mode either 0 or 90 DDR clocking is available.

Is DDR supported with Demux mode?

    Hi Dennis,

    Thanks for pointing this issue out.  DDR is supported in Demux Mode.  Table 21, which mentions available modes, is correct, and the sentence at the end of paragraph 17.3.2.1 is wrong. 

    We will update the datasheet.
