DAC 0800

 HI,

        We are doing a project based on bio-medicals for that i want SPICE model of DAC 0800 for testing purpose. I am not able to find any related information to that in internet.

    Hi Mohammed

    Unfortunately this is a very old DAC product, and I am not aware of any SPICE models for this device. The detailed equivalent circuit diagram in Figure 2, and the DC response for various configurations in Figures 6, 7 and 8 of the datasheet should be useful to your analysis however.

    Hello sir ,

                     We want to test DAC circuit in MULTISIM before implementing on a prototype. But we are not able to get SPICE model for any 8-bit DAC. If you provide SPICE model for any 8-bit DAC it would be helpful.

    Hi Mohammed

    I am not aware of any SPICE or other types of behavioral models for 8-bit DAC products at TI.

    Can you tell me what aspects of behavior you are most concerned about, and hoping to learn about using Multi-Sim?

    Have you considered building a prototype of the DAC and related circuitry to get measured results rather than doing modeling? This relatively simple device should be straightforward to prototype, especially considering the packages it is available in.
