Using the THS8200 to convert 24 bit RGB to BT656

I've been looking for a way to convert 24bit RGB (with seperate syncs) to BT656. It seems as thought the THS8200 may do this for me. Has anyone ever done this or have any suggestions.

The THS8200 supports a bt656 input format but does not convert from a 16/20-bit 4:2:2 or 24/30-bit input to bt656 digital output.

So is the BT656 output just a pass through (note 1 in section 4.1 and section 4.9)?

Yes simply a pass though for connecting the GY input port to a video encoder that supports bt655.
