RETRIEVING DATA FROM THE DDC112.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DDC112, DDC11XEVM-PDK

Hi,

I retrieve data from the DDC112 and get 40bit.

The first 20 bits from IN1 and the last 20 bits from IN2.

My question ist:

Where is the difference between "side A" and "side B", of each channel, or is in this case no difference?

Best regards,

Jan Philip

  • Hi Jan,

The DDC112 actually belongs in a different forum - the Medical HiRel forum to be specific.  I'll move it for you but I am wondering what mode you are operating the DDC112 in?  Side A vs side B depends on the state of CONV - take a look at Figures 14 and 15 of the data sheet, that might help to clarify things a little for you.

  • Hi Tom,

I knew the conversion details for the Internal Operation of the continuous and the non-continuous mode. I tested the DDC112 with the DDC11xEVM-PDK Performance Demonstration Kit before.

I use the mode which is described in the Application Bulletin "Retrieving Data From The DDC112" (AB-136) and in this paper is nothing written about side A vs. side B.

    Best regards,

    Jan

  • Can anyone help me?

    Best regards,

    Jan
