ads1282 8 chips sync

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1282, LMK01801, LMK00101, LMK01000

Hi,

I use the 8 chips of ads1282 with 4.096M. I need to sample with 96 Hz so I make 96 frequency source to synchronic the ads1282 on the pluse-sync mode. I found it takes

too time to sync  about 10ms .

would you please give me some good idea

thanks

Jack

  • Hi Jack,

You could use clock divider to divide-down the 4.096 MHz sample clock clock down to 100 Hz and 1:8 fanout buffer to your ADCs.  Since this requires large divide value, you may need to cascade two dividers devices.

See LMK01000 and LMK01801 divider/buffers chips and LMK00101 CMOS fanout devices.  These are high performance devices (probably overkill for your application), but it should give you an idea of the functionality you're looking for.
