1080i/p support for TVP7002

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TVP7002

Hi,

I am working in a project where it is necessary to add video support for 1080i-50 and 1080p-60 for the TVP7002.  We are trying to identify the standard using the following registers:

  • Lines Per Frame Status  (37h-38h)
  • Clocks Per Line Status (39h-3Ah)

In the case of 1080p-60 the first time  we  request video from the TVP7002, the driver reads the wrong value for lines per frame. After the first attempt it gets the correct value on each request.

In the other hand, for 1080I-50, sometimes (randomly) the driver is unable to detect the standard getting a  wrong value  for both registers, even sometimes it reads the standard as progressive instead of interlaced.

We have already tested for 720P-60, 1080I-60, 720P-50 and 1080P-50 and all of them worked correctly.

Can someone help me on this issue please?

Best Regards,

Marco.
