Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THS8135
I am trying to build a device to generate a bi-level or a tri-level sync signal (generate only one at a time, based on some sort of selector logic input). I have found the THS8135, which looks to have a lot more capabilities than what I'm after, but I suppose I can ignore a lot of the chip and just use its sync generator capabilities.
Is there a basic applications circuit that I can use as a guideline (crystal input / timing requirements / decoupling / resistors)? I'm basically going to be adding this to a circuit as the sync generator. I've looked at sync "separators" too, but I don't have a video signal--I just need to create a sync "from scratch."
