Dear Bob,
I need to clarify some doubts regarding the PCB design while using ADS1230.I already designed one and its working,but some times the internal counts are drifting upto 5 -6 counts,and this drifting is reflecting on the external counts.As per your information i separated the Analog supply and Digital Supply ,but the problem is not fully arrested.I think the problem may be due to noise from power supply section.I m using double sided PCB.i hv following doubts.
1)Can i use ground plane at the upper side of the PCB to reduce noise.
2)what should be the maximum length of the track (DOUT,SCLK,PWDN) from ADS1230 to MICROCONTROLLER pins.
Also please give me some important tips to reduce maximum noise in a ADC board.I think your suggestions will be very helpful for my further PCB design.
