NEED INFORMATION- DAC8812ICPWG4

Hi Can you please provide the following information for the DAC8812ICPWG4 Part ?

1. Junction Temperature Max (Tj Max)

 2. Typical Power dissipation (Pd typ)

3. Maximum Power dissipation (Pd max)

4. Thermal Resistance Junction to Ambient (Theta JA

5. Thermal Resistance Junction to Board (Theta JB)

6. Thermal Resistance Junction to Case (Theta JC)

7. Weight

  • Hi Jayakumara,

A few of your answers can be found on page 2 of the data sheet including the Tjmax, package power dissipation, Theta JA. The chip typical and max power dissipation, with the logic levels at 0V halting communication should be around 27.5uW (page 4 of DS). You can calculate exactly what the power dissipation would be using the current spec on page 4 of the data sheet along with what power supply voltage you decide to use.

I need to get a hold of some people around here to answer some of your other questions including Chip Weight, etc.

    Regards,

    Tony Calabria

  • Hi Jayakumara,

Theta Jc is 29.3 degC/W and Jb you should be able to use 60 degC/W.

Still looking for the chip weight.
