I want to use ADS1278-HT to sample a 20KHz signal at 80KS/s. I understand to do this I would have to run the ADC in High speed mode. Power consumption of high speed mode stands at 985mW operating at 200C (I am not sure freq = 32MHz here or not)
This is quite a lot of power. I am only using two channels, so I would shut down the rest of the channel. Is there a way to analyze power consumption when only two channels are in operation ?
