Sampling Rate for ADS1299 EVM

Is there any way to change the sampling rate for the EVM? It seems to stay set at 250SPS, though the documentation suggests that it can go up to 16kSPS. I would like to set it at around 1000 if that is possible, but in any case, is it possible to adjust this?

I have also asked previously about connecting BIAS and REFERENCE electrodes from an EEG cap, and am still not sure about the exact configuration for those.

Hi Greg,

Figure 8 in the ADS1298ECGFE-PDK users guide (page 15) depicts the channel register tab of the GUI. In the CONFIG1 register, the last drop down box controls the data rate settings. We default to FMOD/1024 which is 250SPS in low-power mode. Can you not change that entry on your side? Greg and Tony are researching your cap question and should be able to provide you with some feedback after the holiday.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the feedback. I did find the data rate setting, I hadn't directly recognized it. On the ADS1299 software (rather than 1298), FMOD/1024 is 1000 Hz, so that's good. It was defaulting to FMOD/4096.

I'll wait to hear about the cap questions, thanks again.
