Hi Adrian,

No worries on your English - there is no specific sequence needed to write to the ADS8329. If you want to run the device in auto trigger mode, you simply need to clear bit 9 in the configuration register. What processor are you using with the ADS8329? How do you have the EOC/INT pin connected?

hi Tom,

I use the BeagleBoard to receive data from adc8329.
SDI input observed in 8329 with the oscilloscope and see that the data arrives, but not configured.
I can set starting on BeagleBoard pull up or pull down. which requires adc8329?
I send and cf cmr data, but always get as input data signal.
pin eoc / int is connected to the BeagleBoard GPIO

Hi Tom,

I'm working with Adrian in the project, unfortunately, we can't send you a screen shot.
Actually we can read data from beagleboard, but we wanna write to the converter sending the word 0xExxx (xxx=CFR value), but it didn't work.

We are trying to set D9 = 0 "Auto trigger automatically starts" , but nothing happened.For that reason, we wanna know if the converter needs a pull-up or pull-down or nothing on SDI pin.

Or the issue could be another thing?

Well I resolved the issue, it was the spi mode. Now is working in spi mode 1.
