Hello,

I was wondering if this RF evaluation module, and also this receiver, would have a kind of model to use in DSP Builder or System Generator.

Another question about these RF EVMs is about their compatibility with Xilinx Development Kits. Are there any adaptor cards to convert their HSMC headers into FMC?

    Are you referring to Altera's DSP builder and Xilinx's System Generator? If so, we will need their help with this question. We will get back to you once you confirm.

    Regarding the ADC and DAC EVM to FMC adapters, please refer to the following:

    These two adapters are compatible with the RF transmitter and receiver EVMs.

    That's right, Altera's DSP Builder and Xilinx's System Generator. I was wondering if those RF EVMs come with some models to integrate into these tools to use with Simulink.

    I do not know if you got my meaning, but I will try to make it clear for you. In the past I bought some AD/DA daughter cards and had to create, by myself, a black box into Simulink that would access, configure and connect the AD/DA card with the FPGA pins. I think the whole task could be simplified if a model (a DSP Builder or System Generator block) was provided along with the daughter cards. Specially, the task of configuring the internal registers and submodules in order to make the EVM work.

    If I couldn't make it clear, let me know and I'll try to better explain.
