I have some issue with the ADC12D1600RB.

After installing the software and the hardware, I followed the user's guide and started the WV5. But it showed that a hardware error has occurred. And it occurred every time when I tried to launch the software. I have also noticed that when I connected the USB cable from the PC USB port to the ADC12D1600RB USB port, the computer asked me to install the hardware ADC10D1000 as the picture shows. I was just thinking if it might relate to the problem? Looking forward to hear from you.

Hi Mia,

The boards are all labeled as "ADC10D1000", so it can be confusing, but it is not incorrect. There are some tips for installing and avoiding pitfalls in the video "Getting Started with the GSPS ADC Reference Board" on http://www.ti.com/product/ADC12D1600. The issue you are experiencing is common and is addressed in the video; try the advice in the video and let us know if that solves your problem.
