AFE4300 4 load cell channel

AFE4300 comes with options to connection 4 load cell. Most conventional health scale comes with 4 load cell also. But the load cell in health scale are quarter bridge and are connected together to form full bridge load cell. Would like to know why AFE4300 is design to have 4 load cell connection? are there any way to connect 4 load cell in traditional health scale to each of the 4 load cell channel in AFE4300

    Hello,

    The 4 load cell channels of AFE4300 was particularly designed for a customer use case.

    Yes the 4 load cells can be connected to the 4 load cell channels of AFE4300. But it must be taken care that the maximum output current for the VVLDO (bridge supply voltage) does not exceed the max current of 20mA.
