Hello i am going to use ads1256evm to read values from an accelerometer with differential output (the accelerometers supply is ±5V). Can you please tell me what voltages should i place on the pins:

REF- and REF+ on the analog interface and on-VA, -5VA on the power supply input. Thank you in advance

Hi Stylianos,

Have you looked through the ADS1256EVM User's Guide? (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sbau090c/sbau090c.pdf)

Also look at pages 3&4 of the ADS1256 Datasheet (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/ads1256.pdf). These will tell you the allowable ranges for the power supplies and reference.

What is the output voltage range of the accelerometer? I'm guessing it will be bipolar becuase of the bipolar suplies. In which case you may need to level shift the input signal.
