Increase ADC08060 Analog Bandwidth?

I would like to know more about what limits the ADC08060 ADC's analog bandwidth.  Most converters have an analog bandwidth much greater than their sample rate - but not so with the ADC08060.  Can I increase the analog bandwidth with an external sample-hold?  ...or through some other mechanism? And if so by how much?

I want to use the part because of its low price.
