We are having difficulty determining the correct configuration for an external reference on the ADS130E08. The datasheet says that the reference voltage is (VREFP-VREFN), so that pair forms a differential input. However, Figures 26 and 27 seem to suggest that VREFP is actually a single ended input referenced to AVSS.
We would like to use an external 2.5V reference on our board, which is referenced to analog ground (in our system, AVDD is +3.3V and AVSS is -1V). Is this possible?
