I have been searching for A/Ds for a new project I am working with and I have found what to me seems to be a hole in the product line for High Speed A/Ds. I need a device that can run in the 10 - 40 Mhz sampling rate with no latency, at at least 16 bits accuracy. There are a couple of devices at 10 and 12 Mhz that are Sigma Delta devices, and devices greater then 40 Mhz that are pipelined devices. However there seems to be no parts in the 10 - 40 Mhz range that are SAR based. Does TI have a part, or plan to have a part that fits into this range? All the parts that seem fast enough are Pipeline architecture and at speeds greater than 100 Mhz. This puts them out of the price and performance range I can use in my design.
What would be reasonable is a faster version of the ADS1610.
