DS26LS31CM / input termination of unused channel

Hi,

I believe that the input termination of unused channel should be GND for RS-422 driver like DS26LS31CM. Is my understanding correct?

It can be terminated to ground or supply, but it is best to do through it through a several kohm resistor to protect against any transients.

Thank you for your response. I will recommend our customer to use pull-up or down resistor.
