    Hello,

    I am in the process of checking with the team to see if the medical device uses any different materials in assembly. If not the device should have the same thermal properties as the non- medical device (SN65HVD30).

    While I am checking, below is the link to the SN65HVD30 device and the device power dissipation parameters are on page 8.

    Hi,

    I was able to check and unfortunately the SN65HVD30MDREPG4 and the SN65HVD30D devices use different material sets. The dies are identical but other manufacturing aspects have been changed. A new thermal model will need to be created to help you get the exact number.

    I am going to move your question over to the team that supports this device so they can get the model generated for you.
