Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1278
Hi,
I am using ADS1278 in my design. I want to use SPI protocol in discrete output mode to collect the samples on all eight channels . CLK frequency is 27MHz.
As per datasheet for best performance, limit fSCLK/fCLK to ratios of 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, etc. However I want to run the the spi at some other frequencies which is not integral divisor of fCLK. Will this cause any performance deviation? Why is this that I have to limit the ratios as above?
Please confirm.
