Dear, TI

On ADS1232REF GUI version 1.4.0, when selecting Visible Items->Scale Legend the window appears behind the Device Control window, NOT allowing selection of the Code settings.

The same issue appears when selecting Visible Items->Plot Legend the window appears behind the Strip Chart window, NOT allowing selection of the above Plot.

May someone please clarify the following questions?

Is it possible to move the Scale Legend and the Plot Legend windows so the windows are not blocked?
How would we record data to a file so the data is recorded in HEX format?
Is it possible to time stamp the recorded data to a file?

Hi Pelstar,

This is the first time I've seen this question asked. I suspect that you are a seasoned LabView user. This particular piece of software does not utilize all of the features available. So the short answer is no, you cannot adjust the panel within the executable. The use of some of the controls is not documented in the user's guide and was beyond the intent of the use of the software. You can get the source code here:

ftp://ftp.ti.com/pub/data_acquisition/ADS123xREF/ADS123x_CDROM/PC_Software/Labview_Source_Files/Source_for_ADS1x3xREF_LabVIEW-1.4.0.zip

If you so desire, and have LabView available, you can alter the panels yourself. You can also change the format of the output codes to hex as well if you would like. Otherwise, you will have to take the results of the data file and import them to a spreadsheet and convert the data back to hex.
