Hi,

I have a customer looking for single channel ultrasound - they are well aware of the AFE580x family of devices but don't need that many channels. Do you have a discrete design we could offer them? They are only interested in the ADC/DAC and then towards the front end analogue side - they have their processing needs covered.

Hi Calum,

Please go to http://www.ti.com/solution/ultrasound_system and click on the AFE block and the ADC block. Depending upon the features they require, one or more of the devices listed should help them out.

Calum,

We do not currently have any AFE less than eight channels for ultrasound. If you want to split the VCA and ADC, please have a look at the Dual-Channel VCA2615:

For the ADC, I'm thinking that the ADC12C080 might be a good choice. There are others as well.
