Hello,

I have two questions for TVP5158.

1. Can I operate the video decoder function and audio ADC function in parallel?
   I think that it is possible, because each function is separated in Functional Block Diagram.

2. Is there sample code for TVP5158 with linux?
   I found the "mcvip_tvp5158_v010013_20100211.zip" at "http://e2e.ti.com/support/data_converters/videoconverters/f/376/t/41768.aspx".
   Is this sample code for TVP5158 with linux?

    Nomoto,

    Yes the audio and video are concurrent.

    Regarding the driver, what processor are you wanting to connect to?

    Configuration of the TVP will depend on what processor you are connecting to and what modes the processor supports.

    The 6467 code might help you to understand how to configure the TVP a little, but it will also likely include 6467 specific configuration and set the TVP to a mode compatible with the 6467 but not compatible with your processor.
