Hello Philip,
There are two ways to change the DAC output frequency location.
The first method is to change the signal location at the DAC input. When using the DAC3482EVM with our TSW1400/TSW1406 pattern generator, the signal location can be changed on our High Speed Data Converter Pro (HSDC PRO). For instance, on the lower left hand corner of the HSDC Pro software, there is an multi-tone generator. You may refer to section 4.8 of the TSW1400EVM User's Guide for detail on the configuration.

Other signals such as modulated LTE or WCDMA signals can be generated via TSW1400 pattern generator suites. Within each generator program, the signal location can be specified.

Keep in mind that the input signal banwidth (or max frequency location) is limited by the first stage interpolation filter roll-off. The roll-off occurs at about 0.4x of the input data rate. See pages 56 to 59 of the DAC3482 datasheet for detail.
The second method is to use either the complex coarse mixer or fine mixer to shift the input signal location to other desired locations. The DAC348x family has coarse mixing capability such as fs/2, fs/4, and fs/8 mixing. Fine mixing option involves the use of NCO. You may see attached DAC3482 GUI for instructions on using the NCO. Detailed mixing options can be found on pages 60 to 61 of the DAC3482 datasheet. Keep in mind that the input signal must be complex (single side band) in order for the complex mixer to operate correctly.
