Hi ! Good morning everybody !

First i m french engineer so scuse my mistakes in english ...

Im currently working with a luxmeter, i have to receive the values on my computer. To do that i bought the Evolution module ADS1118EVM which is connected on my PC with SM-USB-DIG and connected on my luxmeter with a jack. With this kit there is a software provided to manipule I/O. But i need to integrate use of the luxmeter in my own application. So i'm looking for source codes or libraries to communicate with the USB port but i don't found it. Someone can help me please about this ? (A priori there is no API about the software provided ...)

NB : I work with Windows Seven and Visual Studio 2010

Please note i'm a software engineer and not a hardware engineer so i have never done this kind of program ...

Hi Lisa,

Here are a couple forum links that may help. One of them includes the firmware that is loaded into the TUSB3210, which is on the SM-USB-DIG. This may help you write the software you need.

Hi Tom,

Thank you for your answer ! I had already looked these discussions but i didn't understand everything ...

Finaly i found an other solution. With Evalution kit bought, there was a software provided. This software is developped with LabView but it uses a C/C++ library. So i tried to understand how Labview used this library and in which order and i implemented the same sequence in C++. Now it's ok, i can read values return by my luxmeter !

If someone needs to know how my programm runs, he can ask me ;)

Hi Lisa,

Please could you share that C++ program, I need to port that code onto Linux. Have you tried it on Linux ?
