Hi Yun,
Welcome to the TI E2E forums!
The test signal in the ADS1299 can be generated according to the commands described in the CONFIG2: Configuration Register 2 section of the datasheet (pg. 41).
For an internally generated signal, Bit 4 is set to '1.'
Bit 2 sets the signal amplitude. Please note that the calculated result gives you an amplitude in millivolts, meaning: = [1 × (VREFP – VREFN) / 2.4] mV
Bits [1:0] set the test signal frequency, either as a multiple of your f_clk, or at DC.
Then in CHnSET: Individual Channel Settings (pg. 44), you need to use MUXn Bits [2:0] to select the test signal ('101') as your input selection.

Hi Ryan,
Thank you so much, I know how to generate and see the signals now.
And I met another problem, I was wondering maybe you can help me. From yesterday on, my platform can't read registers anymore, it takes more than 20 minutes to read registers but all registers are 0, and the 7-segment display on the platform doesn't work as usual.
I don't know what's the problem, I re-installed the software but it doesn't work. I hope you can help me.
Thank you!
Hi Yun!
I'm glad you are seeing success now with the generated test signals.
I saw this response about the register problems on your other post, here: http://e2e.ti.com/support/data_converters/precision_data_converters/f/73/t/262885.aspx.
It was perfectly fine to start a new thread with this question, but please refrain from duplicating your posts on more than one thread.
I will gladly work with you on your new thread and close this one. :)
Thank you,
