ADC to be used with OMAP-L138 with SD Card feature

Hi,

I am looking for high speed ADC with sampling rate over 10 MHz to be interfaced with OMAP-L138. Main goal is to build data acquisition system to store large amount of data in SD card. I realized OMAP-L138 is using SPI mode to communicate with SD card. I tried to make one project which uses UPP, I2C and SPI peripherals together, but that didn't work may be because some parameters were overlapping and can't work together. Although I couldn't figure out what was wrong in there.

Now I am seeking advise to use any ADC with any interface which helps implementing SD card feature in OMAP-L138 EVM.

I will appreciate your help.

Hi Tariq,

We have many ADCs that operate over 10 Msps. However I do not know of any that would help you with an SD card implementation. I think that is more of an OMAP implementation question.

The OMAP LM138 has a UPP interface that may be compatible with the AFE7222 or AFE7225 CMOS interface - we have not tried this physically with the LM138 but the specs look compatible.

For LM138 supoort you may have to check with the OMAP team.
