Interfacing ADS4249 and DAC3482 with Altera Statix IV board

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCE62005, DAC3482

Hi,

I am trying to implement interfacing of ADS and DAC with FPGA.

i'm facing problem in configuring of ads and dac through gui's

and i'm trying to use onboard clocks of ADS and DAC

can anyone please tell me what settings to be done though GUI's

Thnanks,

Naveen

  • Hi Naveen,

Have you looked into this app note?  This would be a good starting point to understand the ADC/DAC/FPGA inteface first.

Changing the GUI settings will require that you know your desired data rates, clock rates, interpolation etc...

  • Naveen,

For the DAC3482 GUI, there are some example CDCE62005 configuration files that you can use as a starting point. I have attached the files in this forum for your reference.  The reference the CDCE62005 synthesizer is the on-board 19.2MHz crystal oscillator. The output of the CDC would be 614.4MHz, 737.28MHz, or 983.04MHz, respectively.
