ADS1298RECGFE-PDK Driver Not Installing

Hello,

I have a distribution partner that is having issues trying to use the EVM. He is getting an error that the device driver cannot be installed because it is an unidentified device and there was no driver found. He's running Windows 7 with admin privileges and followed our instruction set. Do you have any idea why this may be happening? Have there been issues with this driver before?

Hi Greg -

I am the disti partner - customer and I are at a loss as to understand what is going on - I have tried two different eval boards, on two different systems (one XP, one Windows 7). The initial driver problem was resolved by uninstalling the Tektronix/NI driver.

Now however, there appears to be a problem with the firmware update:

no firmware found

firmware updating (about 1 second...)

firmware updated sucessfully

then a few seconds later - firmware load has failed due to a timeout condition

I've tried reseting, unplugging the usb cable, power down - no joy.

This same sequence appears on both XP and Win7, and both dev boards. Any thoughts/hints would be appreciated!
