ADS1299 Mid rail reference

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1299, OPA376

Hi

I'm working on a ADS1299 schematic and I have a question:

On the EVK there is a external OPA376 which drives the Bias electrode, its reference point is the mid point of a resistor totem pole. As this is not linked to the signal reference in any way it means that a DC offset is seen in the output data.  I was wondering if it would be better to reference it to BIASINV or BIASOUT (as per the 1298 EVK)

What are the noise implications of using these alternate reference points

Thks.
