Hello,

I have the ADS1299EEG FE Board from TI .

I want to know, how is the Board communnicating with the MMBO board an the USB Interface.

Cause when I contact the SPI pins at J5 i can see no signals.

Has J5 no contact or do I have to set a jumper somewhere else?

I hope somebody can give me a hint.

Please refer to the ADS1299 user guide located @ http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slau443/slau443.pdf. The schematics for the EVM are located toward the end of the document. For the SPI lines, you want to connect to J3.

Is there a Schematic of the board available, cause of the Supply circuitry and the LDOs used for supply generation?

The schematic in the User guide is incomplete and does not include this part.

All of the circuitry for the ADS1299EVM is present in the user guide. The schematic exists on multiple pages, so perhaps this section was overlooked.

SPI communication and register:

Using the demonstration kit of the ADS1299, will the register always be reset by the software or is it reset automatically by disconnecting the supply.

What I want to know is:

When I design a system with the ADS1299 is it necessary to write the register settings at every usage or after every battery charging or is the register information stored permanently?
