Does anyboby know that what kind of IC that can be used in my application? The applicatioin is as:

  Input: composite TV signal(PAL, NTSC) which is interlaced mode

 Output: Progressive mode @ resolution 640X480 or 320*240 or even less

    Hi Holly,

    I think most of the modern-time video decoders have an inherent input/output type selection facility.

    This can allow you to select either interlaced /progressive mode for input/output, the conversion will be internal.

    Your choices could be TVP5146, TVP5150 or ADV7188
