I was able to probe the correct frequency of CLKOUT on ADS42xxEVM. Have you tried probed R130 on EVM? What is your clock speed?

I wonder say its just noise.  Both sides of R130 are similar.

Yes, this is just random noise. What is your clock frequency, can you try 60MHz of clock?

Actually I already connected to 125MHz clock.

Can you try 60MHz of clock to see if it functionally works? Usually, the max clock of CMOS tends to be less than LVDS.

I tested with 60MHz clock.  I gave me same result. Just noise.   I am not sure if set the board correct?  

I only set the software to cmos Ctrl ans then send register.

Can you please check the direction of SN74AVC16T245? The pin '1' is headed to the CMOS connecter side on EVM.

I think I connects it correct.  Before I solder it, I checked with the PCB design and chip's data sheet.  

Here is a the picture how I solder it.

You set JP11 as parallel mode but other jumper settings are not consistent to this. Please try jumper settings below for CMOS.

JP11: 1-2

JP8: 1-2

JP12: 1-2

JP10: 1-2

JP14: 3-4 (Offset binary/CMOS)

JP9: 1-2

With these settings, you'll get correct CMOS output from ADS4245EVM.

I tried those JP connection.  That still give me same result.  I directly probe ADS4245 main chip pin 55-50 which are DA11-DA6.  That give me very weak signal. around 15mV.  Datasheet says common-mode digital output should be 0.95V.    So far, my digital output is not high enough to active the 3-state buffer.

Can you check jumper settings on EVM as below?

JP17: 1-2

JP28: 1-2

JP19: 1-2

JP29: 1-2

Those jumpers are setting correct.  

Here is the picture.

I worry if I short some other components' connection when I use heat gun to remove RN8-12.

If the issue is the same, I can ship a good working EVM modified to CMOS to local TI office, and then TI FAE can visit you to help this issue closed.
