Ultrasound transducer interface

Hello...

I am exploring solutions for ultrasound from TI. I have enough information to start a project for ultrasound but what I can't find is a information about probes used in it. There are eval boards available too, but they have not mentioned any probes to use with it.

I've find probes from several companies like siemens, philips etc. The problem I am facing is that I can't find technical datasheet about any transducers. Please tell me where can I buy one of those probes used in ultrasound in medical systems and interface with it.

    Can you tell us a little more about the project?  How many channels and what center frequency are you looking for?

    Hi... Right now I am looking for probe with linear or curved array at 3.5 MHz frequency.

    The problem is that I can not find any technical specification of any probe. I want pinout of probe so that I can understand how to interface with it. Right now I haven't consider how many channels I want.

    Please if you can find probe with technical specification reply me.

    I have a similiar problem, if u dont mind using the same thread.

    I am looking for ultrasound kit for my project. However, I am very new to this area so I was looking for some tips for choosing the right components.  Any info would be appreciated. I found that you have TX-SDK-V1 development kit, but it it lacks of sensors. Can you suggest which kind of sensors would be compatible with this kit or any other good starting kit?

     I am hoping to get started quicly, so I hope they would contain ready-made-components (both HW and SW) as much as possible.

    Hi Matti,

    I won't mind if you use this thread. This thread is public so interested people are welcomed to use it.

    To be honest, I am also new to ultrasound and I've a lot to find the sensor, but I couldn't. TX-SDK-V1 contains only front end required for ultrasound. Unfortunately I don't know any sensor probe to interface with that.
