the value drift on my 1K ohm measurement

hi

I would like to use IOUT(0,1,2,3) and VSENSE(0,1,2,3) to get my segment resistance. I use 1Kohm external circuit to verify the accuracy of ADC value on GUI.

I test difference combination, (0,1),(2,3),(0,2),(1,2),(0,3),(3,1). I found the value are the same on (0,1),(2,3),(0,2),,(0,3), but (1,2),(3,1) value are difference.

I try to power on and off, sometime (1,2) value would the same with (0,1),(2,3),(0,2),,(0,3), but  (3,1) never the same with others.

I expect those of combination measurement should get the same value. why I get the difference result?

regards!

Duke

  • Hello Duke,

Different channel combinations should give similar values.

Can you confirm whether shunt jumpers are placed on connectors J11, J12, J22 and J23 for channels 0 through 3?

Incorrect channel selection may sometimes lead to erroneous results. Can you verify if the channels were selected correctly?

Can you provide your test conditions?

Here is sample data for 1KOhm resistance with 128sps and 50KHz DAC frequency.

    Regards

    Praveen.
