ADS1292 Input Protection?

I'd like help better understanding the input protection structure of the ADS1292's analog input pins.  In certain fault modes of my design, it is possible that I will apply up to 10V through 10kOhm resistors to one analog input pair.  When this happens, I do not need the converter to continue to function correctly, I only need it to survive to function correctly after the fault clears.

The datasheet indicates within its "Absolute Max Ratings" that it can withstand 10mA continuous current through any of its pins, and that pins must be within 0.3V of the rails.  If I assume simple diode clamps, I believe that this fault condition is survivable - we'd be pushing a tenth of the max current through those assumed protection diodes.  However, a quick check with a multimeter reads a 1.9V diode drop from input to AVDD.

Do I need additional external protection, or am I good to go?
