DDC112 range[2-0] pins and test pin

Dear Sir/Madam,

1) When I change the level of the range[2-0] pins, do I have to go to state 1 or 8 again to make the new range valid?

2) When I change the level of the test pin, do I have to go to state 1 or 8 again to start or exit the test mode?
